Eight of March is the holiday of expression of love and gratitude to the women, has ancient history and foggy origin. The history of celebrating of the International female day is accepted for connecting to a name Clara Zetkin. She was a revolutionary. She was at the International conference of the women in 1910 in Copenhagen has proclaimed idea annually to mark March 8 as day of birth of female proletariat. The choice Zetkin just on the 8-th of March as dates of celebrating of the International female day causes diversity of an explanation. According to official, is wide of the known version, the Female day was dated for events of 1857, when on 8-th of March tailors of the New York factories have passed by a march on streets of city, protesting against low earnings and heavy working conditions. However number of the historians’ names also another religious reason of occurrence of a holiday, according to which into intentions Zetkin entered to connect a history of female socialist movement with a history of its people – Jews.
